I'm excited about generating worlds of similar complexity to our own as a path towards understanding ours.

I recently completed my MEng at MIT, where I conducted research on environment design at MIT CSAIL in Pulkit Agrawal's group. I completed my Bachelor's degree from MIT in 2024 with a double major in Artificial Intelligence and Mathematics.

Research

My research focuses are:

  • Understanding the space of interactions that make up the real world's dynamics
  • Designing environments with the types of complexity that ease training for transfer

To this end, I'm interested in world models, open-endedness, UED, multi-agent RL, meta-RL, evolutionary algorithms, and transfer learning.
